The formula for calculating expansion and contraction is:
(.0013" x Delta F x Length) or .0013 per degree of temperature
change / per lineal ft. of liner.
Example: 16 ft liner installed at 70°F will expand to 16 feet 5/8
inches at 100°F.
100°F - 70°F = 30°F x .0013 x 16 feet = .624" |
