     9.  DO 25 PUSH-UPS EVERY DAY.

     8.  SET AT LEAST ONE NEW PR (OR AGE-GROUP PR).

     7.  EAT A MORE HEALTHFUL DIET.

     6.  DO 50 SIT-UPS EVERY DAY.

     5.  VOLUNTEER TO HELP IN AT LEAST ONE RACE.

     4.  ENCOURAGE ANOTHER RUNNER AT EVERY RACE I ATTEND.

     3.  THANK A VOLUNTEER AT EVERY RACE.

     2.  TRAIN HARDER THAN LAST YEAR.  (EASY FOR ME TO SAY)

     1.  BE MORE TOLERANT OF NONRUNNERS WHO THINK YOU'RE CRAZY.
