Here are the results of the Leprauchan Challenge in Liberal, Saturday, March 15. Thanks to Gary Scott and the Liberal Recreation Commission, along with several sponsors! The distance was 2.3 miles. No awards were given. Registration was free except those who wanted to donate two dollars and be entered in a drawing. Almost 40 people took part in the run and walk. I think I missed some of the runners. Here are those I did get:

It was a beautiful day with
temperature around 70 degrees and a very
light breeze. Race started at 2:00 p.m.
There were some really nice prizes
given away in a drawing and a special
prize to the person with the most
green on which was Joe Denoyer of
Liberal.
At least three of the runners
are new to this area. Billy (husband)
and Charly (wife) Lynn have recently
moved to Guymon from North Carolina.
Ken Paxton moved to Liberal from Boulder,
Colorado. The Lynn's had their two small
children in a twin stroller they were
pushing.
