Youth Ministries

Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups

Our youth ministry is designed to provide a variety of experiences. Our desire is for youth to encounter the living Christ, caring adults & mix with other youth in a Christian setting. We want to strengthen the inner core of each with the love of Christ.
  • Cutting Edge - A Senior High bible study in an informal setting is the best way to describe the Cutting Edge. They meet to study the scriptures and look at the world around them through Christian eyes. Mark Faulkner & Wendy Calderwood lead the group each Wednesday from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday School -meets from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. The High School youth meet for breakfast & discussion, usually around a video and the scripture.The 7th & 8th Grade meet for a snack & study of the Bible followed by discussion.
  • Choir - Our youth choir is for 6th - 12th graders. The choir sings in the 10:45 a.m. worship service 3 or 4 times a year. The choir meets for rehearsals 2 or 3 weeks prior to singing in worship.
  • Transformed by Christ -Each Saturday evening all high school students are welcome to attend T.B.C. at 6:30 p.m.. Students will meet in Wesley Hall for Bible Study, singing and discussing current issues for youth. Questions? Contact Laura Dalke - 356-4924
  • Service Opportunities - The youth play a vital role in assisting in many of our children’s ministries. Kid’s Club & Vacation Bible School could not be offered without the help of the youth of the church. Opportunities to serve are found in the newsletter during the recruiting time of each of these ministries.
