Local Missions:
Manger gifts - Everyone is invited to buy a gift for someone their own age and gender. Each person wraps their gift, identifies clearly on the package what age and gender this package goes to and leaves it by the manger in Wesley Hall during the first two weeks of December. Mexican American Ministries and the Senior High Youth Fellowship deliver these gifts to people of all races that would not receive Christmas gifts without some assistance.
Loaves and Fishes - Several of the churches in town provide for this ministry. Loaves & Fishes feed people that often fall through the cracks of other agencies available in town. They are located at 1 N. Main and are open every Thursday. Food donations are always appreciated. Some churchs in the commumity takes one month out of the year to provide volunteers to disperse food each Thursday of the month.
Recycling Center - The third Saturday of each month the Recycling Center is open to receive items. Volunteers run this non-profit organization. They have made a large impact on decreasing the amount of trash taken to the Grant Co. Landfill.
Teens with Tots - Our church houses this weekly support & education group for teens that find themselves parents. They meet each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the basement. The leadership is experienced, caring adults. Learning experiences occur weekly. Nursery care is provided. For more information contact Judy Alig at 356-1830.
