Omelet in a bag

Each of us beat up our eggs in a bowl with a little milk.

Then we added ham, cheese, onion, red/green peppers, and salt and pepper.

Poured them into bags, zipped them up, dropped them into a pan of boiling water, and set the timer for 13 minutes.

Removed them from the water, kinda dried the bags off a little, and then they rolled right out onto our plate.

If you like omelets, you will like omelets in a bag.   Know some folks like their eggs a llittle brown but, of course, these eggs don't brown, but everything was perfectly cooked in those 13 minutes.

I think next time I will cook them using some already cooked sausage (like cut-up the pre-cooked sausage patties you can get at Wal-Mart).  Cook them the 13 minutes then wrap them up in a tortilla with a little salsa.  Bet that would be delicious.    And, best of all - there's very little clean-up.
