Frozen Corn
8 cups fresh raw corn, cut from the cob
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Combine all ingredients in a heavy pan and bring to a boil, stirring
occasionally.  Boil 1-2 minutes.

Pour into a large bowl that has been placed in a sink of ice water to cool –stirring frequently.

When cool enough to handle, ladle into desired size Ziploc freezer bags.  Press most (not all) of air out and seal.  Place bags in an ice chest or tub filled with ice water to further cool bags if desired before placing in the freezer.
