| 1 1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup butter |
| 1/2 tsp. baking soda |
3/4 cup sugar |
| 1/2 tsp. salt |
1 egg |

1 tsp. vanilla |

1 cup mashed bananas |
|
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in egg,
vanilla, and bananas. Mix well.
Stir in flour mixture until well blended; stir in chopped nuts.
Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
I double this recipe and put in a sheet cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Cut into 3-inch
squares.
