| Hugoton Municipal Court takes place in the court room of the city offices at 631 S. Main. Court sessions are held each Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Municipal Judge Sherri Leonard presiding as of May 2007. Traffic citations and other fines may be paid at the city office during normal business hours or mailed to the court at: City of Hugoton 631 S. Main P.O. Box 788 Hugoton, KS 67951 The fine amount and the court costs for traffic infractions will appear on the back of the citation and may be paid anytime prior to the court date. In the case of misdemeanor traffic violations, it is mandatory to appear in court before the judge. Sherri Leonard is also the court clerk and handles the bookkeeping.
