AMERICAN VISION AWARD WINNERS at the 2004 Western Kansas Scholastic Arts held in Montezuma.  These two pieces were two of the five pieces chosen to represent Kansas at Nationals in Washington D.C. later this year.

 

Samantha Bennett and Karissa Rojas received Gold Keys and will also represent Kansas at the National Scholastic Contest in New York City later this year

 

We also received two Silver Keys and several Honorable Mentions.  All of the students’ work can be seen at the Stauth Museum in Montezuma this month.

There is a current art show in Liberal at the Baker Arts Center, which we are a part of. This show will continue until early April. We will then participate in the Hi Plains League Art Show in Leoti.
