FROG
 Fully Responsible, Organized and Growing

A F.R.O.G. book is a 3-ring binder that holds everything you and your kiddos need to keep updated on classroom and school events.  No more lost notes, lost homework or missing lunch/book club money!!  No more looking all over the house to find paper to write the teacher a note!  EVERYTHING the both of you need is in one notebook.  This notebook is important because it helps kiddos to establish good organizational skills as well as teach them responsibility.

The content of the notebook is as follows:

Important Papers from School- This section is where kiddos put information we get from the office or special notes from me.

Pouch- This is for money and notes that you may send to me.

Super Duper Papers to Take Home- This section is where kiddos place their work after I have checked it.  Please clean this section out each night.

My Reading Log- Please record all books (pages on chapter books) read at home on the calendar provided.  Also needs to be initialed.

Homework Assignments- This section will contain all Homework papers.  Please return them in the same pocket the next day.

Parent/Teacher Communication- This will contain a brochure about everything for the year. (parties, discipline, etc.) The notebook paper is for notes between you and me when needed.

My Behavior- This section will contain behavior slips. (Pledge, Behavior Plans, etc.)

AR Log/Goals- This section will contain AR goals for the Nine Weeks that is updated weekly.  It also has a log of all AR tests taken.

Agenda- Everyone will write the agenda for the day here.  This needs to be signed when the F.R.O.G. notebook comes back to school.

*Everything in the notebook is labeled.

The notebooks will go home every night and need to be brought back every morning.

Every notebook also contains a list of the expectations for class and a list of rules for their notebooks.
