Thank you to all the parents who were
able to attend the Title I/ESL Parent Meeting on August 29 during Welcome Back
to School Night!

USD 363
has both a Title I language arts and Title I math program. The programs utilize paraprofessionals and
certified teachers to provide small group and individual help for students. |
|

|
|
Approximately
80 students are in the ESL program grades K-12 in USD 363. The languages represented are Spanish, Low
German, and Vietnamese. Currently there
are 3 teachers serving the ESL students: Becky Rojas K-3 Beth Moser 4-8 Mary Kemper 9-12 Additionally,
there are approximately 35 ESL certified teachers serving students in their
classrooms and 5 teachers working on ESL certification. |
