Thirty-some odd years ago, Tom had a 1964 Corvette coupe, when he and Rosemary started the family the Corvette had to go. Tom always said "Someday I'll get another one." Well, that day has come. In August of 2004, Tom bought a white1994 coupe, fulfilling his dream. He spends lots of time working on the car, improving it and making it like new. Tom and Rosemary have taken the Corvette on several trips. On one trip they attended the CorvetteActionCenter.com Cruisefest in Bowling Green Kentucky, home the Corvette assembly plant and the National Corvette Museum. They met lots of great people and made friends from the CorvetteActionCenter. They have also made a couple of trips to Colorado for cruises. One of those trips was to "Vettes on the Rockies", one of the premier Corvette gatherings in the western half of the US, proved to be lots of fun. During the summer of 2006, they made a trip to Colorado to “cruise” with a Corvette group from the Colorado Springs area. The picture above was taken at one of the stops (San Isabel) during that “Drive and Dine”. In the summer of 2007, Tom and Rosie attended their second CorvetteActionCenter.com CruiseFest, this time it was held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Many activities were planned and the scenery was great, as were the planned cruises. Later on that summer, Tom and Rosie took the Corvette on vacation to eastern Tennessee. During the time there they took the Corvette to the famous “Tail of the Dragon”, a section of US Highway 129 which has 318 curves or turns in an 11 mile stretch, and Cherohala Skyway, a beautiful 45 mile drive through southern Tennessee. These were both great and beautiful drives in the well handling Corvette.

Tom is involved with the "Knights of Columbus", a Catholic, fraternal, service organization. He has held several different positions in the Lakin council. He is a 4th Degree Knight in the assembly in Lakin, and is Past Faithful Comptroller of the assembly. He is a member of 2nd and 3rd Degree teams in southwest Kansas.
